What We Do

Relationships

As women join us, they begin to build friendships with one another and with our volunteers – this brings confidence as they learn to navigate life in their new community!

Valuable Skills Training

The women learn sewing and handcraft skills, and quickly advance to making beautiful, unique products that we sell through our store, local markets, and wholesale partners.  They also have the opportunity to take individualized ESL classes each week. This gives them the tools they need to grow and succeed in their new home.

Employment

As the women grow in their skills, we hire them and they begin to earn income from the sale of their products.  This is a way they can support  and contribute to the well-being of their families.

We are a nonprofit ministry dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming space for refugee women who have been resettled in Clarkston, Georgia. As the women gather in community, they are building relationships, learning valuable skills in sewing and handcrafts, and have the opportunity for employment that provides income for their families.  Sign up below for our newsletter to learn how you can be a part of equipping refugee women to thrive in their new community.
